Technopole Quimper (TQC)

Technopole Quimper-Cornouaille is a business innovation center located in the south-west of Brittany (FRANCE). It provides bespoke services to meet the needs of early stage, start-up & scale-up companies in all sectors. Technopole plays a hands-on role helping entrepreneurs to navigate the innovation ecosystem and the business path. Our non-for-profit organisation has developed an expertise in agri-food, blue economy & digital sectors. It supports the development of individual and collaborative innovative projects as well. It facilitates networking and funding search to unlock potential within our region and ensure enterpreneurs succeed. It helps to challenge their project to transform into reality.

It takes part in several national and European networks (RETIS and EBN, European Business network) and vertical clusters (Pole Mer Bertagne Atlantique, Maritime innovation cluster and Valorial, Agri-food innovation cluster).

Technopole has been involved in European cooperation projects for 20 years. It developed a particular expertise in the innovative use and valorization of byproducts through european projects Biotecmar (Atlantic area programme- 2009-2011), Seafood Age (Atlantic area programme-2019-2022) and Food Heroes (North West Programme- 2016-2020), with a focus on circular economy.

Within Aquafish, it particularly leads the action related to the Inventory of marine biomass (1.1) and the Marketing & economic analysis (2.3).
